VN ensures a balanced growth of body and mind. Children are trained to shoulder responsibilities, make decisions and help in organizing programmes. They are trained in public speaking, games, sports and various extracurricular activities. Inter-house and Inter-class activities creativity fosters multiple talents in our students. Competitions are organized for dramatics, elocution, quiz, recitation, debates, group songs, dance and other activities and the meritorious children are honored.
Tours, Excursion and Camping
General Vocational camps encompass activities like VN Sport Club , VN Cultural Club, Music Club, Teakwando Club, Dance Club, Scout Club, Junior Red Cross Club, Environment Club, Community Outreach Club, Science Club, Robotics Club, and Social Action Club. In addition to excursions, during the summer vacation and the autumn/winter break, educational tours and camps are organized, which, besides providing the skills and sense of recreation, inculcate qualities of leadership, entrepreneurship, personal development , self-reliance, productivity and quality in service.
Seminar and Conferences
With a view to encourage introspection, a learner and an educator needs to be a co-learner, a motivator, a facilitator and not a sole harbinger of wisdom and knowledge, a number of seminars and conferences are conducted to keep the students and staffs updated on recent trends in technical education in local, national and international level via physical mode and online mode.
VN Functions
Every year, VN celebrates and organizes; Orientation Day, Welcoming Day, Parents’ Day, Annual Day, Picnic Program, Excursion Tour, Farewell and Reward Day, Annual Day, Sports Day, IT Expo Day, and other national and international days are celebrated with great enthusiasm.
Scouting
Girls are encouraged to join Scouting, an international organization, with a total membership of over 17 million young people in over 100 countries. Scouting helps them develop a sense of international brotherhood/sisterhood. It teaches them useful skill which will make them self-reliant. Over and above through various scouting activities, they are taught discipline, sense of responsibility and leadership.
